About Our Founders
Country Time LLC dba WebWerks Design Studio is wholey owned
and operated by a 62 year old disabled Vietnam Veteran
and his wife.
B. Craig Johnson,
known as "Dusty" to most everybody, was born and
raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, a 3rd generation native
of the area. His father's family can be traced back through
nine generations in the state which means he is a real, authentic
Florida Cracker (that's also his CB radio handle). Wounded
during the course of his duties in Southeast Asia in the latter
half of the 1960's, he is considered 100% disabled. The action
he was involved in and his records are classified until the
year 2068, but the medals in a blue case in his desk drawer
speak volumes. Dusty has recently taken a little monetary assistance
from the Veteran's Administration and began taking Social
Securityin 2010.
After working years in the country music entertainment business,
he "retired" in 1999 to devote his time to developing
what is now the second most popular (and second largest) website
for linedancers in the world at
www.country-time.com.
In February of 2001, Dusty was struck by a life-threatening
ascending aortic disection, the same malady that killed the
actor John Ritter in 2003. After being airlifted to Shands
Hospital at the University of Florida, he underwent an eight
hour emergency open-heart surgery which saved his life. In
May of 2004, he again was forced into open-heart surgery after
developing a staph infection of the bloodstream. Due to the
high cost of the anti-biotics and other medications he is
forced to take, he began acceptting some of his medical aid
and medications from the Veteran's Administration.
Dusty has his own website at www.djdusty.us
Gloria Johnson is
a retired secondary school administrator who keeps Dusty and
his young college helpers on task. Where Dusty is the "left
brain thinker" and is the creative side of the duo, Gloria
is the "right brained" detail oriented taskmaster.
Dusty creates, designs and builds while Gloria watches the
pennies, cooks the meals, and reminds everyone of the more
mundane, everyday things that need to be tended to.
Gloria was born and raised in east Tennessee. The former
Gloria Fitch, graduated from Central High Scchool in Knoxville,
and East Tennessee State College in Johnson City. She was
hired just before her college graduation to teach English
at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, and skipped the
graduation ceremony to move to Florida. At the end of two
years she was moved into the administrative ranks as the Dean
of Girls, and after completing her Masters in Education degree
at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida she became an assistant
principal.
Gloria retired in 1996 after 30 years in the system and took
up what before had been a hobby, line dancing. Already a respected
and popular instructor, she began choreographing dances in
1995. Ten years later her total stands at 124 dances written,
many at the express request of the recording artist or the
record labels in Nashville. Gloria has been featured seven
times in Country Weekly Magazine, and has been published in
other magazines in Great Britain, Australia, and Japan. She has her own website at www.gloriajohnson.us
